The split, agreed before release.
PickAGame is a hub where game teams build with AI assistance, and where each person's contribution is recorded in the open — so the revenue split is settled while there is still something to settle.
The problem
Indie teams don't break over talent. They break over the split: "I put in more hours", "that was my idea", "I was here from the start". Nobody keeps a record, so everyone remembers their own version. By the time the game sells, the argument is late and it isn't about the work anymore — it's about money.
How it works
-
The repo goes in
You connect the game's repository. PickAGame reads the work that already exists: commits, branches, authorship, dates.
-
The contribution gets recorded
Each person sees what is attributed to them and confirms it. What is not in the record does not count, and everyone knows that before the argument starts.
-
The split report comes out
One document with each person's percentage, reviewed by the team and closed before the game ships.
What it is not
- Not blockchain. It is a record and a report. Nothing is mined or sold as a token.
- It does not touch the money. Teams pay each other however they like. PickAGame is not a payment processor and holds nothing in custody.
- No public voting on contributions. The split is the team's decision, not a crowd's.
- AI helps build. It writes code with you. It never decides who gets paid what.
Who is behind it
One person. Entry is invite-only to start, with teams small enough to talk directly to the person building it. No scale promises, no user numbers that don't exist yet — a small product and a founder who answers.
